Nomical was founded in 2006 by brothers Simon and Jon, who saw first-hand how difficult it was for growing businesses to manage IT without in-house expertise. Too often, companies were relying on reactive support, unreliable infrastructure, and providers who didn’t really understand their business.
From the outset, Nomical was built to be different. The focus was on long-term partnerships, clear accountability, and IT solutions designed around how businesses actually operate – not generic packages or short-term fixes.
As our clients grew, so did we. Today, we support over 1,000 sites across the UK, working closely with fast-growing start-ups, established organisations and complex multi-site operators that rely on resilient, always-on IT and connectivity.
Our growth has come entirely through referrals and long-standing relationships, and that remains intentional. We’ve stayed family-run by choice, because it allows us to deliver a level of service, continuity and ownership that larger providers often can’t.
While technology has evolved dramatically over the years, our approach hasn’t changed: proactive support, engineers who know our clients’ environments, and IT that enables growth rather than holding it back.
