With broad experience across infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, cybersecurity, licensing, AI and emerging technologies, Peter combines deep technical knowledge with a talent for making complex technology clear and relatable. Whether solving an immediate challenge or developing a longer-term technology roadmap, he believes there is always a way forward and that every challenge has a solution.

At Nomical, Peter focuses on building strong, long-term relationships with clients and acting as a trusted adviser, making sure every interaction, whether solving a problem, offering advice or planning for the future, adds genuine value.

Outside of work, Peter enjoys spending time with his young family, getting outdoors, walking, paddleboarding and exploring the Lake District. He’s always looking forward to the next family holiday or adventure.

Toby Steward

Toby works at the intersection of engineering and product, turning ideas into tools people actually use. With more than 15 years across agencies and product teams, he focuses on outcomes over output: understanding the problem behind a request, shipping early, and letting evidence not opinion steer what gets built next.

At Nomical that means shaping and delivering the products behind the service, from internal platforms to customer-facing tooling. An AWS-certified engineer, he cares that what ships is fast, reliable and simple to run, and he's a keen adopter of AI-assisted development and what it lets a small, sharp team deliver.

Away from work, Toby travels whenever he can and takes coffee seriously enough to debate brew methods. He's a football enthusiast and a woodworker, finding the same satisfaction in a cleanly made piece of furniture as in a cleanly shipped product.

Maria Hristova

Her experience includes developing benchmarking software in the pharmaceutical sector to analyse the accuracy and efficiency of Optical Braille Analysis tools. Maria thrives on solving complex problems while keeping the end user’s needs at the heart of her work.

Outside of work, Maria enjoys expressing her creativity through baking, crochet, and photography. When she’s not coding, she’s most likely spending time with her cat, Bean, or unwinding with yoga.

He specialises in Juniper hardware and has completed several industry-recognised certifications, with a goal to achieve the expert-level JNCIE-SP qualification in 2026. Antony particularly enjoys working with service provider protocols and infrastructure, where his adaptability and methodical thinking come into play.

Outside of work, Antony is a lifelong Manchester City fan and has held a season ticket for over 20 years. He’s passionate about music, football, and travelling to new places, and is a committed supporter of animal welfare charities.

Matthew Highton

Matthew brings over a decade of hands-on experience across datacentres, MSPs, and large housing organisations. Starting his IT career in a fast-paced datacentre environment, he quickly gained exposure to complex technologies including virtualisation, physical server architecture, and enterprise backup solutions - a foundation that shaped both his technical depth and his collaborative approach. A standout achievement was his role in a major project unifying the infrastructure of three housing associations, spanning HCI, VDI, SD-WAN, and multisite backups.

Throughout his career, Matthew has valued the people who invested in his development, and that’s a big reason he’s passionate about paying it forward. Whether he’s supporting customers or mentoring colleagues, Matthew is known for his calm, personal approach and his ability to make people feel confident that they’re in safe hands.

Outside of work, Matthew splits his time between gaming, football, and inventing new ways to entertain his little one!

Levent graduated from the Izmir Institute of Technology and furthered his education at the West London Business College, which provided him with a solid foundation to continually learn and improve his skills.

At Nomical, Levent oversees hardware installations and troubleshoots network issues with precision, delivering top-tier service to clients.

Connie Carey

Connie has 11 years of experience in telecoms and PBX connectivity project management. Starting in residential connectivity and moving on to business connectivity and project management, Connie works closely with customers to upgrade and install connectivity solutions, including temporary setups. She has been involved in significant projects like the member WiFi and SD-WAN migrations.

Personally, Connie is a mum and has two dogs. She loves sports, supporting Stockport County in football and Manchester Storm in ice hockey. Connie enjoys exploring the country with her family, making use of their English Heritage passes. She also loves to attend gigs, and makes sure she reads every single day, even if she can only manage 15 minutes, demonstrating her eagerness for continuous learning.
