Panthers Pride: Nomical Kits Out Ringwood Town U14 Girls in Memory of Matthew
Nomical is proud to sponsor the Ringwood Town Panthers Under 14s girls’ team this season, providing a brand-new home and away kit in memory of Matthew Dunning, the much loved 20-year-old son of our COO, who sadly passed away in September 2025.
The Panthers will run out in red at home and navy away, and every shirt carries a tribute to Matthew. For everyone at Nomical, this is one of the most meaningful sponsorships we have ever been part of.
A shirt with a story
For us this is much more than just a football shirt, it is about raising awareness of sudden cardiac death in the young and raising vital funds to support the fantastic work of CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) a charity we are supporting in Matthew’s memory.
On the back, beneath each player’s number, sits Matthew’s name and a QR code linking to his memorial page. Anyone watching from the touchline can scan it to learn more about Matthew, his story and the reason why we have chosen to support CRY’s work.
Every penny of Matthew’s memorial fund will support CRY’s work to raise awareness of the warning signs, provide opportunities for young people to be screened, and fund vital research into sudden cardiac death and the heart conditions that can tragically go undetected.
Playing for their brother
Matthew’s younger sisters, Holly and Charlotte, both play for the Panthers. They are incredibly proud to wear the shirt in memory of their brother, and to have their teammates wearing it alongside them.
Go Panthers!
The Ringwood Town Panthers U14 girls play in the Dorset League. If you’d like to follow their season, you can find their fixtures, results and league table on FA Full-Time.
We’d like to thank Ringwood Town for welcoming us as sponsors, and the players, coaches and parents for wearing Matthew’s shirt with such pride. Everyone at Nomical wishes the Panthers a fantastic season. We’ll be cheering them on from the sidelines and most importantly carrying Matthew’s memory with us every step of the way.
About CRY
Cardiac Risk in the Young is a UK charity working to reduce the number of young sudden cardiac deaths. Its #12AWeek campaign highlights that around 12 young people in the UK die each week from undiagnosed heart conditions. CRY supports bereaved families, funds research and runs heart screening for young people.
